Federico Meda

Born on 24 January 1982, Federico Meda graduated in Transportation Systems Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome in 2007.

He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Italo – Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori S.p.A.

With more than 15 years of experience in the railway transportation sector, he has held positions of increasing responsibility within Italo, making a significant contribution to the Company’s growth and development.

Within the Operations area and subsequently as Chief Industrial Development & IT Officer, he led key functions including railway operations, onboard staff and fleet management, industrial development, and information systems.

He has developed extensive expertise in institutional and regulatory affairs, business planning, the management of complex high-impact strategic projects, and commercial strategy. In his role as Chief Commercial Strategies Officer, he supported senior management in strategic planning and the achievement of the Company’s growth objectives.

Since 2024, he has also served as a Member of the Board of Directors of Itabus.
