Culture, Local Communities and Social Impact
Through the “Italo for Culture” initiative, Italo actively promotes the enhancement of Italy’s cultural, artistic, and social heritage, recognizing culture as a powerful driver of growth, inclusion, and sustainable development for local communities.
The Company’s commitment is expressed through partnerships with museums, cultural institutions, foundations, and nationally significant events, with the aim of fostering access to culture, encouraging sustainable travel to major cultural destinations, and contributing to the promotion of Italy’s historical and creative heritage.
During 2025, under the Italo for Culture initiative, the Company supported a number of cultural projects, including collaborations with Palazzo dei Diamanti in Ferrara, through exhibitions dedicated to Alphonse Mucha and Giovanni Boldini, and later Marc Chagall, as well as partnerships with Palazzo Roverella and the Luigi Rovati Foundation, contributing to the promotion of nationally significant exhibitions and the celebration of Italy’s cultural heritage.
At the same time, Italo supports initiatives aimed at strengthening social sustainability and community engagement by promoting projects and partnerships that foster inclusion, accessibility, the protection of shared heritage, and the dissemination of culture as a common good.
Through Italo for Culture, the Company contributes to creating shared value for people and local communities, reinforcing its role as a mobility operator committed not only to connecting destinations, but also to supporting the cultural and social development of the territories in which it operates.
