What is Web Accessibility

Web accessibility means designing websites and digital technologies so they can be used by people with disabilities, including those who use assistive technologies. This approach ensures an inclusive and non-discriminatory user experience. Making digital products accessible allows users to perceive, understand, navigate, and interact effectively with them. Moreover, accessibility improves usability for everyone, making digital services simpler and more usable for a wider audience.

What Accessibility Means to Us

As an organization, we strive to promote a culture where inclusion is embedded in our business and in the way we work every day. We believe inclusion is everyone’s responsibility.
All of us, around the world, are taking action to create sustainable solutions, ensuring that everyone has access to opportunities, feels empowered to take responsibility, and to challenge bias—leading transformation with a human touch. This also means listening to our stakeholders, their needs and expectations, as well as driving digital innovation and making insurance products accessible always, everywhere, and to everyone.

Our Actions for a More Accessible Website

We want everyone to be able to use our products, without barriers.
That’s why we’re focusing on three key areas: design, content, and code, following the rules of the European Accessibility Act. Our goal? To make our websites and services accessible to everyone, with care, empathy, and respect for all kinds of needs.
We are committed to following international standards (WCAG 2.1) to ensure our site is usable by people with visual, motor, cognitive, and other disabilities.
For us, accessibility means inclusion, care, and quality of experience for all.

What Does Website Accessibility Mean?

The internet is fundamentally designed to work for all people, regardless of hardware, software, language, location, or ability.
Web accessibility means creating websites, applications, technologies, tools, products, and services in an inclusive way: this means removing barriers to communication and interaction that many people face in the physical world.
