ITALO: NEW INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATION
Rome, December 17, 2025. A new international certification for Italo.The railway company has obtained the PAS 24000, a recognition that confirms the company’s commitment to ensuring ethical, sustainable, and socially responsible practices—both internally and throughout its entire supply chain.
The certification, developed by the British Standards Institution (BSI), is a global standard that defines the requirements for assessing and improving an organization’s social performance, with a particular focus on respect for human rights, working conditions, and transparency in relationships with stakeholders and local communities.
This achievement is the result of a long and consistent journey, certified by an external body that thoroughly evaluated the compliance of corporate processes and systems with the most rigorous ethical and social criteria, covering key aspects of social responsibility.Italo, always attentive to issues such as ethics, inclusion, safety, and worker protection, successfully completed all the steps required to obtain this ambitious certification, reaffirming its sustainability strategy and combining economic performance with a strong ESG commitment—a cornerstone of the company’s vision.
