STRONGER SYNERGY BETWEEN ITALO AND SNAV
Naples/Rome, June 18, 2026 – The synergy between Italo and SNAV is growing stronger. The shared goal is to provide passengers with interconnected services, simplifying travel planning and enhancing the overall travel experience.
With a single transaction available directly on the Italo website (https://www.italotreno.com/it), travelers can purchase a combined ticket including Italo train, Itabus coach and SNAV high-speed vessels. From major Italian cities such as Turin, Milan, Bologna, Florence and Rome (to name a few), passengers can reach Naples by train. From there, a dedicated connecting Itabus service takes them to the port of Molo Beverello, where they can board a SNAV high-speed vessel and reach the most popular summer destinations.
SNAV connects Naples with Capri, Ischia and Procida; Naples with the Aeolian Islands (Stromboli, Panarea, Salina, Vulcano and Lipari) and the Pontine Islands (Ventotene and Ponza); as well as Ancona with Split and vice versa.
This agreement offers a fast and flexible solution, with numerous daily connections and no need for private transport. A convenient option for travelers and a sustainable choice for the environment.
To further strengthen the partnership, the two companies have introduced tailored benefits for members of their respective loyalty programs. Italo Più members will receive a 10% discount on online SNAV purchases, earn Italo Più points on ferry travel as well (1 point for every €2 spent), and benefit from extended point accumulation on combined train-and-ferry journeys sold on the Italo website. Meanwhile, SNAV Easy Life members who enroll in the Italo Più program will receive discounts of up to 50% on Italo travel.
Following the success of previous summers, the initiative combining the Italo and SNAV brands is also returning: selected Italo trains and Itabus coaches will feature a special livery showcasing SNAV high-speed vessels, while SNAV ships will sail displaying the Italo brand.
“Passengers have always been at the core of Italo’s strategy. We are an intermodal group capable of connecting high-speed rail stations, ports and airports. We are increasingly integrating our network with the aim of offering shared and connected services. For the summer season, considering the high volume of domestic and international tourist flows, we are offering the opportunity to purchase train, coach and ferry services in a single, convenient transaction,” commented Dora Bonadies, Head of Network & Market Development at Italo.
“The integration with Italo’s rail connections represents a natural step for SNAV towards an increasingly seamless, comfortable and continuous travel experience. Thanks to the new integrated solutions and dedicated promotions for mutual passengers, we are making travel more accessible, comfortable and safe from departure to arrival, enhancing the complementarity between maritime and rail transport and strengthening territorial connectivity,” stated Commander Giuseppe Langella, Chief Executive Officer of SNAV S.p.A.
