ITALO MAGAZINE: OCTOBER 2026

In this month’s onboard magazine, Italo takes you on a journey to discover summer destinations that, visited out of season, offer the chance to enjoy a relaxing break away from the crowds. We also highlight some of the most important events taking place across Italy in October, including the exhibition at Rome’s MAXXI Museum celebrating the 60th anniversary of WWF Italy, which Italo proudly supports as Mobility Partner.
Our journey continues through festivals, events, museums, and exhibitions across the country. These diverse initiatives attract visitors from near and far, and Italo is proud to support them by guiding travelers through the stories, places, and vibrant energies that showcase the very best of Italy. We then travel to Milan, not only Italy’s publishing capital but also a UNESCO Creative City of Literature. This unique recognition, the only one of its kind in Italy, is also thanks to the city’s long-standing tradition of exceptional libraries, among the most beautiful and richly well-stocked in the country.
Next, we head to Benevento to explore its remarkable Lombard heritage. Among Roman remains, literary awards, and contemporary art installations, the jewel in the crown of this Campanian city is the monumental complex of Santa Sofia, commissioned by Arechis II in 760 AD and now recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Enjoy the read, and have a wonderful journey!
