In line with the European model of railway safety culture, Italo is one of the companies, which have signed the European safety culture declaration designed by the European Union Agency for Railways, with the support of the European Commissioner for Transport.
The declaration establishes the four main principle for railway safety: monitor the main risks; understand workplace issues; learn from experience and integrate safety in a coherent manner.
