Italo, Official Mobility Partner of WWF Italy

Italo stands alongside WWF Italy in a three-year partnership that brings together sustainable mobility and biodiversity conservation, with the goal of promoting an increasingly responsible and conscious way of travelling.

As Mobility Partner, Italo supports WWF Italy’s initiatives dedicated to the protection of ecosystems and species across the country, helping make nature more accessible through low-emission mobility.

The partnership enhances the value of the WWF Oasis network, which includes more than 100 protected natural areas committed to biodiversity conservation, scientific research and environmental education. It also supports awareness-raising initiatives such as the WWF Oasis Grand Tour, a journey across Italy showcasing the country’s extraordinary natural heritage.

The agreement also includes initiatives dedicated to travellers and the direct involvement of employees from both organisations through corporate volunteering activities and travel benefits, helping to make sustainability a shared value.

A common journey that recognises rail travel as a strategic ally in reducing the environmental impact of mobility and in bringing citizens and communities closer to the knowledge, respect and protection of nature.
