Italo supports ANFS - Agenzia Nazionale sulla Sicurezza delle Ferrovie, i.e. Italy’s National Railways Safety Agency - campaign “Rispetta le regole, ti salva la vita” – i.e Respect the rules, it will save your life.
Behind this initiative, there is the alert regarding people walking along railroads in Italy, an issue with a much higher percentage compared to the average one in major European countries, due to incorrect, superficial or illegal – i.e. dangerous - behaviour.
In order to contrast this trend, ANSF has been working for some years on awareness campaigns involving Railroad Police, italy’s Basketball, Rugby and Volleyball Federations and many local education offices. Italo also supports ANSF and to create awareness among its passengers, the video of the campaign will be shown throughout the month of December 2017 in the Italo Club Lounges of Roma Termini, Roma Tiburtina, Milano Centrale, Firenze Santa Maria Novella, Torino Porta Susa and Napoli Centrale as well as on the train portal.
