Italo e Telefono Rosa

Italo e Telefono Rosa

Italo supports Telefono Rosa- Italy’s NGO, National Association of the so-called Pink Phone Volunteers – that has been working for years to support women and children victims of violence by protecting them and giving them back hope and dignity. All this to prevent violence and spread out a message of equality and mutual support. On 25 November - the International Day for the Elimination of violence against women - Italo decided to start up an important collaboration with Telefono Rosa in order to support the association for the protection of women. Starting from 25 November, all Italo passengers can purchase the brooches of the association or other gadgets by making a donation in the Lounges of Napoli Centrale, Roma Termini and Milano Centrale stations. The money will help Telefono Rosa give women the possibility to live safely in their shelter homes and allow their children to grow up without violence.

Moreover, for Valentine’s Day, Italo decided to support Telefono Rosa’s fundraising by giving out the Cuori di Sfogliatella, i.e. a heart-shaped typical Neapolitan Sfogliatella in a special wrapping for all passengers visiting the Lounges of Napoli Centrale, Roma Termini and Milano Centrale to celebrate all lovers.
