Italo continues giving its support to many cultural initiatives thus it promote a monographic exhibition of Antonio Ligabue one of the most important painters of the 20th century, made in Cosenza in the exhibition rooms of Rende’s Museo del Presente from 19 January to 17 February 2018.
Italobus – Italo’s integated train+bus transport service – will allow all travellers to reach Cosenza, see the exhibition and have a discount on the ticket, simply by showing your Italo ticket. The purpose of the exhibition – managed by Associazione N.9 together with Gualtieri’s Casa Museo Ligabue (Ligabue Museum Home) and sponsored by the Council of Rende – is to show the artist’s personality and describe his amazing life through a selection of personal items and by focusing on some stories and characters linked to him. The 40 works - shown in Calabria for the first time – will give visitors the opportunity to admire Ligabue’s art, a tormented artists and genius, whose artistic expression was his main means of communication.
