Bologna Jazz Festival 2026

Italo has always supported culture and initiatives that turn travel into an opportunity for discovery. This is why Italo is a partner of the Bologna Jazz Festival 2026, taking place from 13 October to 8 November across Bologna and its metropolitan area, Ferrara and Forlì.

Featuring around 70 concerts alongside a wide range of additional events, the Festival offers a journey through the Italian and international jazz scene, exploring different genres and styles of improvised music. The major artists featured in the 2026 edition include Fabrizio Bosso, Al Di Meola, Kurt Elling with the Yellowjackets and Emmet Cohen, alongside numerous other Italian and international musicians.

In addition to the concerts, the programme includes exhibitions, talks, conferences, workshops, artist residencies, book presentations, as well as educational and outreach activities, with special initiatives also marking the centenaries of John Coltrane and Miles Davis, two key figures in the history of jazz.

A festival spread across the region, bringing music not only to theatres and jazz clubs, but also to cultural venues and unconventional spaces, engaging Bologna and the surrounding area in an experience that combines music, culture and education.

Special offer for Italo passengers: passengers holding an Italo ticket to or from Bologna are entitled to a 20% discount on concert tickets, valid within three days from the date of the concert. Discounted tickets can only be purchased on the day of the event at the venue box office. Discounts cannot be combined with other offers.
