Italo has always supported art. That is why Rome and Napoli Centrale’s Italo Club Lounges are now hosting Opere in movimento (Works in Motion) Ettore de Conciliis - the poet of peace, harmony and conciliation– travelling exhibition organised by Il Cigno GG Edizioni.
«It is an exhibition of my latest works showing landscapes in which most of all you can see trains. Thus, the choice to place them in the new VIP lounges of Termini and Napoli Centrale stations», stated de Conciliis. «My main theme has always been landscapes in which I always try to have water as the main subject. I believe that two important and crowded cities such as Rome and Naples can attract the attention of travellers who are passionate about art. My activity is carried out through public works, in the squares, in the churches, in land art works to which I associate a research of nature in painting, more dreamy and intimate, as it affects not only the nature of landscapes but also human nature, more complex and introspective, and now even stations ", highlighted the artist. His is a contemporary art made using a traditional pictorial technique.
Nature predominates in his paintings. An always peaceful and "enchanted" nature; a sort of Eden that could be interpreted as a reference to current environmental issues (pollution, global warming, etc.). Ten works on display in the "Italo Club Lounge", a sort of brief retrospective with recent works dated from 2013 to 2017.
