Luigi Rovati Foundation – THE OLYMPIC GAMES™. A HISTORY SPANNING THREE THOUSAND YEARS

Starting Wednesday, November 26, the Luigi Rovati Foundation hosts the exhibition The Olympic Games™. A History Spanning Three Thousand Years, created to celebrate the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026.

The Luigi Rovati Foundation presents a major exhibition on the history and values of athletic games from antiquity to the present, in collaboration with the Olympic Museum and the Musée cantonal d’archéologie et d’histoire in Lausanne. The exhibition explores the evolution of the Olympic ideal through archaeological artifacts, sports memorabilia, and a special section on the Olympic torch, leading up to Milano Cortina 2026. Highlights include the Tomb of the Olympics from Tarquinia and items belonging to legendary athletes such as Usain Bolt and Pierre de Coubertin. Awarded the Medal of Representation by the President of the Italian Republic, the exhibition celebrates the values of excellence, respect, and inclusion that unite sport and culture.

*All travelers holding an ITALO train ticket, with departure or arrival in Milan, can purchase an admission ticket at the reduced price of €12 instead of the full price of €16. This discount will be available during the Event period and only if the ITALO train ticket shows a travel date no more than 7 days before or after the Event entry date.
