Recruitment steps for on board Hostess & Steward

Italo periodically launches recruitment campaigns to identify candidates to be enrolled in training programs and integrated into its onboard crew.

  • Application screening: Italo, in collaboration with an Employment Agency, reviews and evaluates all applications received and verifies that candidates meet the required criteria;
  • Pre‑selection: candidates who meet the requirements will be invited to complete a video interview in English or to take tests aimed at assessing their language skills;
  • Selection: candidates who successfully pass the previous stages will be contacted and invited to attend an in‑person Assessment Day, including individual and group exercises, an interview in English, and a psycho‑aptitude and motivational interview with Italo;
  • Entry into training: candidates who match the required profile will be contacted by the Employment Agency and enrolled in the Italo training program, based on business needs;
  • Hostess & Steward Training Course: the training course, mainly delivered by Italo instructors, will last three weeks and is designed to provide participants with all the essential knowledge and skills required to perform the role effectively.
