Recruitment steps for Italo drivers:
- screening of the applications: Italo will assess all applications received on the company website and verify their requirements via computerised system;
- phone contact: aimed at analysing professional path and motivation. All candidates compliant with the required profile will be invited to attend the company selection process;
- technical interview: interview with a licensed instructor to assess the candidate’s technical skills and their knowledge of rules and regulations:
- pyschometric interview: following the technical interview, all suitable candidates will then face an interview with Italo’s recruiters to analyse better their psychological profile, expectations and soft skills;
- medical test: all candidates that have passed the previous interviews will face a medical test, necessary to achieve the psychophysical fitness licence foreseen by RFI (Italian Railway Network) requirements;
- economic offer: Italo will then contact all suitable candidates to establish the economic and contract conditions;
- employment and training: all employed candidates will start a training programme to achieve all high-speed rail licences.
