The Italo Plant Operator
- carries out the activities of training and handling of Italo rolling stock, obtaining the qualifications required under Decree 4/2012 and Legislative Decree 247/2010, within and between training plants and stations, in relation to the operating programme.
- carries out the activities of preparation/commissioning, preparation/steering and technical control of Italo rolling stock.
- monitors the correct execution of Italo's operating programme and turnaround activities (cleaning, technical and commercial supplies) within the training plants and stations.
Requirements and competences:
- To have obtained one of the following qualifications
- Technical Diploma with major in one of the following addresses: Maintenance and Technical Assistance; Electronics and Electrical Engineering; Computer Science and Telecommunications; Transport and Logistics; Mechanics, Mechatronics and Energy;
- Scientific high school diploma
- Professional experience: no experience required if new graduate
- Availability to work 24-hour shifts
- Willingness to work on public holidays
- Willingness to relocate to all present work locations (Milan, Venice and Rome). The final working location will be subject to the passing of the qualification examinations, the final ranking of the course and company availability.
Successful completion of the recruitment process is subject to suitability for physical and psycho-aptitude medical examinations (D.lgs 247/10 e PDT) at Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI).
The best Trainee Plant Operators may be offered the opportunity to continue training to become a Train Driver, depending on Italo’s needs.
